The competition for the prettiest outfit:

Polish school announces a competition for the prettiest outfit worn by women and men at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries in each of the countries of the project.
-
Students should prepare artworks ( paintings, drawings and so on) showing the most beautiful outfit in their countries.
-
Then they should take a picture of their work and post it on the project's TwinSpace website.
-
Each work should include the name, surname and the name of the school and country.
The competition will be settled in Poland during the mobility in May.

September 2019
During September, our students have been working on understanding "On the Railroad " by Luca Caragiale. As the text was read the children wrote sentences, drew pictures and extracted keywords from each of the scenes.

We celebrated the ErasmusDays on the 10th,11th and 12th of the October.
At our school’s conference hall we organized an event for #ErasmusDays2019 to spread the word about our project ! We invited authorities about education in our town, teachers and students from other schools and introduced our project.W played the songs that we had learnt for the Spain mobility. We played our part at the Revenge and showed the Polish dance to our guests.

Ä°stanbul Provincial directorote of national education organised a Project bazaar event and we attended there and introduced our project more than 100 schools in Ä°stanbul.
Students read the play and chose the 4. Part and drew pictures about it.
Students made drama activities and had a lot of fun.
They also made rehersals for the play and the music during the month.

​Once upon a time, there was a man called Ahmet Çelebi who lives in Ä°stanbul during the reign of sultans. The nickname of this man, who dreamt a lot and who was interested in science, was ‘Hezarfen’ which meant ‘really wise’.
The biggest dream of Hezarfen was to fly. He usually watched the birds and thought that whether humanbeing could fly. He said ‘Birds have wings and people have wisdom. If wisdom wants, it can cope with a couple of wings. If a person wants, he can fly like a bird’.

In February, our students had a lot of acting and music rehearsals.

We were so excited about the mobility in Turkey so we made lots of preparations and organised everything but an unexpected situation occurred. Coronavirus… Our friends from Italy,Poland and Romania did not have permission for travel so one week before the mobility, we shared their part with the Spain and played our friends’ roles too. However, we had such a short time , it was a great success.
Before the play, we watched a Turkish play ‘Hezarfen,Uçmak Özgürlüktür’’ at the national theatre and we talked about our project made an interview with the Hezarfen. He made explanations about that time and characters to students .

We had an welcome ceremony and after that we played games with our drama teacher. We made drama and music rehearsals.
We watched mehteran band (Ottoman military band) and gave a small concert at the Åžerefiye Cistern. We did lots of dissemination. Approximately 1000 people watched us.The premier was a great success. The theatre was for 500 people and full. Audiences applaud loudly and congratulated us.
At the historical part of Istanbul, we played ‘’The first flying Man Hezarfen’’ and played Telli Telli, Uzun Ä°nce bir Yoldayım and Üsküdara Giderken We visited Galata Tower, Topkapı Palace, Dolmabahçe, Cistern Basilica, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Istiklal Street and had the Bosphorus tour.

Even we had to stay at home, we continued to work together. The students had online lessons every Monday and Wednesday.
